Participation in the Treasure Trove Rewards program (the "Program") constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Treasure Trove Rewards is a promotional program operated by Treasure Trove Inc. ("TTI"), operating under the Treasure Trove Toronto brand.
The Program is open to residents of Ontario, Canada.
Participants must be eighteen (18) years of age or older to be eligible to claim a prize.
Employees, contractors, agents, and immediate family members of Treasure Trove Inc. may participate in the Program but may be excluded from specific prize draws at the sole discretion of TTI.
Treasure Trove Rewards allows participants to earn entries into prize draws by visiting participating businesses and submitting an entry through approved methods, including QR codes, NFC tags, web forms, mobile experiences, or other participation methods designated by TTI.
Participating businesses may require a purchase or other qualifying action before providing access to an entry opportunity. Entry requirements may vary by business and location.
Each valid submission generates one contest entry unless otherwise stated for a specific promotion, campaign, bonus opportunity, sponsor activation, or neighbourhood program.
Treasure Trove Rewards operates as an ongoing city-wide program. From time to time, Treasure Trove Inc. may conduct special neighbourhood campaigns, sponsor-funded promotions, seasonal contests, or business-specific prize opportunities that provide additional entries or prizes.
Treasure Trove Rewards conducts recurring prize draws, including monthly prize draws with a minimum advertised prize value of one hundred dollars ($100 CAD).
Additional prizes may be provided by participating businesses, sponsors, Business Improvement Areas (BIAs), community organizations, promotional partners, or other third parties.
Prize descriptions, values, eligibility requirements, draw dates, and promotional periods may vary and will be published where applicable.
Prize winners are selected by random draw from all eligible entries received during the applicable contest period.
The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Selected winners will be contacted using the contact information provided during participation.
Winners must respond within twenty-four (24) hours of the initial notification attempt.
If a selected winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond within the required timeframe, is found ineligible, declines the prize, or otherwise fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions, TTI reserves the right to select an alternate winner.
To claim a prize, winners must correctly answer a time-limited skill-testing question as required by Canadian law.
Unless otherwise stated, prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and have no cash value.
By participating in the Program, participants consent to the collection, use, and storage of their personal information for the administration of the Program, contest entries, prize draws, winner verification, and related communications.
Participants may receive communications regarding their entries, prize eligibility, rewards activity, program updates, reminders, and promotional opportunities from Treasure Trove Inc.
Certain participating businesses may receive participant information generated through activity at their location, including the participant's name and email address, subject to the business's participation level and applicable privacy laws.
Participants may unsubscribe from marketing communications from Treasure Trove Inc. at any time using the methods provided in those communications.
Where additional consent is required by law or future program design, participants will be provided with the opportunity to opt in separately.
Treasure Trove Inc. reserves the right to verify the validity of all entries and participant information.
TTI may reject, remove, invalidate, or disqualify any entry that:
contains false, inaccurate, misleading, or incomplete information;
is generated using automated systems, bots, scripts, or artificial means;
attempts to manipulate, exploit, interfere with, or circumvent the Program;
duplicates or fraudulently represents participation activity;
violates these Terms and Conditions; or
is otherwise deemed suspicious, abusive, or inconsistent with the spirit of the Program.
All decisions regarding eligibility, entries, participation, and prize awards are final.
By accepting a prize, winners agree that Treasure Trove Inc. and its promotional brands, including Treasure Trove Toronto, may publicly announce the winner's first name, last initial, and municipality of residence for winner verification and promotional purposes.
Photographs, videos, testimonials, interviews, or other promotional materials featuring a winner will only be used with the winner's express consent.
Treasure Trove Inc. reserves the right to modify, suspend, cancel, terminate, or replace any aspect of the Program, including contest mechanics, prizes, eligibility requirements, participating locations, promotional campaigns, or these Terms and Conditions at any time where reasonably necessary.
Any updates become effective upon publication on the applicable website, contest page, or promotional materials.
Treasure Trove Inc., Treasure Trove Toronto, participating businesses, sponsors, BIAs, promotional partners, community organizations, and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, and representatives shall not be liable for:
lost, delayed, incomplete, misdirected, corrupted, or inaccessible entries;
technical failures, software errors, communication interruptions, or website outages;
unauthorized access to participant information;
inability to participate due to technical, operational, business, or network interruptions;
errors in prize administration, winner notification, or prize fulfillment; or
any injury, loss, damage, cost, or expense arising directly or indirectly from participation in the Program or acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize.
Personal information collected through the Program is handled in accordance with the Treasure Trove Inc. Privacy Policy.
Participants are encouraged to review the Privacy Policy for details regarding data collection, storage, sharing, security practices, and participant rights.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada.
Any disputes arising from the Program shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
